Rwanda Development Board, under its ICT Department, established the Rwanda Computer Security Incident Response Team (Rw-CSIRT) in August 2014. Rw-CSIRT is now operating under the National Cyber Security Authority (NCSA), effective from 15 December 2020.
The Rwanda Computer Security Incident Response Team (Rw-CSIRT) supports members of the public and private institutions affected by cyber incidents, providing cyber information and recommendations. For more details, refer to the RFC2350.
It releases timely alerts and advisories to foster the cyber resilience and security of the ICT infrastructure. The team also coordinates efforts for early detection, prevention, and response against cyber-related incidents such as:
