Adobe has released security updates to address multiple vulnerabilities in its software, including Adobe Audition, Adobe After Effects, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Lightroom Classic and others for Windows and macOS.

Affected Systems

The following system versions are known to be affected but not limited to:

• Adobe Audition: Versions 25.3 and earlier (Windows and macOS)

• Adobe After Effects: Versions 25.6 and earlier (Windows and macOS)

• Adobe InDesign: Versions ID21.1 and earlier, and ID20.5.1 and earlier (Windows and macOS)

• Adobe Lightroom Classic: Versions 15.1 and earlier (Windows)

Security Risk

Successful exploitation of the identified vulnerabilities in Adobe software could allow an attacker to gain control of affected systems, enabling them to execute malicious actions.  

Recommended Actions

The National Cyber Security Authority (NCSA) recommends users and system administrators to:

1. Upgrade to the latest supported version of the installed software as soon as possible to ensure continued access to technical support and security patches.

The recommended software versions to upgrade to are as follows, but not limited to:

• Adobe Audition: Upgrade to version 25.6 or 26.0 (Windows and macOS)

• Adobe After Effects: Upgrade to version 25.6.4 or 26.0 (Windows and macOS)

• Adobe InDesign: Upgrade to version ID21.2 or ID20.5.2 (Windows and macOS)

• Adobe Lightroom Classic: Upgrade to version 15.1 or 14.5.2 LTS (Windows)

2. Before performing any update tasks, ensure that you have a backup of your data.
