Adobe has released security updates to address multiple vulnerabilities in its software, including but not limited to Adobe Dreamweaver,   Adobe Acrobat Reader, and Adobe Illustrator for Windows and macOS.

Affected Systems

The following system versions are known to be affected but not limited to:

• Adobe Acrobat DC & Acrobat Reader DC: 24.002.20736 and earlier versions for Windows and macOS.

• Adobe Acrobat 2020 and Acrobat Reader 2020: 20.005.30574 and earlier versions for Windows and macOS.

• Adobe Illustrator:  versions 24.0.3 and earlier & 23.6.2 and earlier For Windows and macOS.

• Adobe Dreamweaver:  versions 24.0.3 and earlier & 23.6.2 and earlier For Windows and macOS.

Security Risks

The identified vulnerabilities in Adobe software, if successfully exploited, could lead to remote code execution or information disclosure on an affected system.

Recommended Actions

The National Cyber Security Authority (NCSA) recommends users and system administrators to:

1. Upgrade to the latest supported version of the installed software as soon as possible to ensure continued access to technical support and security patches.

The recommended software versions to upgrade to are as follows, but not limited to:

• Adobe Acrobat DC & Acrobat Reader DC: Version: 24.002.20759 for Windows and macOS.

• Acrobat 2020 and Acrobat Reader 2020: Version: 20.005.30636 for Windows, and Version: 20.005.30635 for macOS.

• Adobe Illustrator 2023: versions 27.9.4 & Adobe Illustrator 2024: versions 28.5 for Windows and macOS.

• Adobe Dreamweaver: Version: 21.4 for Windows and macOS.

2. Before performing any update tasks, ensure that you have a backup of your data.

3. Ensure that all employees in their organization understand the significance of installing security updates and keeping their software up to date.
