Oracle has released the Critical Patch Update (CPU) Advisory with collections of patches for multiple vulnerabilities found in Java SE and various Oracle products.

Affected Systems:

• Database

• Fusion Applications and Middleware

• Oracle MySQL Product Suite

• Oracle Linux and Virtualization

• Oracle and Sun Systems Products Suite

Security Risks

Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities could lead to remote code execution, denial of service, elevation of privilege, information disclosure, security restriction bypass, spoofing, or tampering on an affected system.

Recommended Actions

The National Cyber Security Authority (NCSA) recommends users and system administrators to:

1. Upgrade, as soon as possible, to the latest supported version of installed software in order to continue receiving technical support and security patches.
